  Am I eligible to participate in the BMO and Shell fuel benefit?

This offer is available to AIR MILES collectors who have linked their BMO credit or debit card with their AIR MILES collector account. To receive the savings at the pump, the eligible AIR MILES collector number must be connected to your BMO credit or debit card and the eligible AIR MILES collector number must be valid at the time of the purchase transaction between March 18, 2024 – December 31, 2024.

  How do I link my BMO credit or debit card with my AIR MILES collector account?

Link your BMO credit or debit card number and AIR MILES collector number here, or sign up for AIR MILES if you don’t already have an AIR MILES collector account.

  Will I receive a confirmation after I link my collector number with my BMO card?

Yes, if your BMO credit or debit card was successfully linked through the AIR MILES card linked site, a confirmation will appear on screen once you have selected submit.

  How long do I need to wait until I can use the benefit?

If you have an AIR MILES credit card, your benefit is ready to use. If you have a non-AIR MILES credit card, or a BMO debit card, the benefit will be available within 5 days after you link.

  Which BMO credit and debit cards are eligible for the BMO and Shell fuel benefit?

All BMO credit and debit cards that are in good standing are applicable for the fuel benefit.

  Can I combine the BMO and Shell fuel benefit with other discounts and promotions?

Yes, this benefit can be stacked with other BMO and Shell offers unless specified otherwise in the terms and conditions. Eligible CAA members can save an additional $0.03 per litre up to 1,000 litres per month at participating Shell locations (excluding Flying J locations and Quebec) between March 18, 2024, to December 31, 2024. To receive up to $0.10 per litre savings at the pump, the eligible CAA membership card (if a member) must be inserted at the time of fuel purchase, followed by the AIR MILES collector card, and the purchase must be completed with a BMO credit or debit card.   How will I know if the BMO and Shell fuel benefit has been applied to my fuel purchase?

If all requirements have been met, you will see the discount immediately at the pump and on your receipt.

  How long is the BMO and Shell fuel benefit available?

The benefit will be available until December 31, 2024.

  Is there a limit to the number of fuel transactions eligible for the BMO and Shell fuel benefit?

There is a maximum of 1,000 litres per month per valid AIR MILES collector account between March 18, 2024, to December 31, 2024.

  Are there any restrictions on the type of fuel or gas stations eligible for the BMO and Shell fuel benefit?

BMO credit or debit cardholders with a valid AIR MILES collector account will receive an instant discount of $0.02 per litre on regular fuel (Shell Bronze and Shell Silver) and $0.07 per litre of premium fuel (Shell V Power®± NiTRO+ or Shell V-Power NiTRO+ 91 or Shell V-Power NiTRO+ 93) at Shell.

  How do I become an AIR MILES collector?

  How do I link my CAA card to my Shell account?

Link your CAA membership in the Shell app by entering your membership number under Programs and Memberships. Please follow the link to become a CAA member and save more at Shell.

  Do I get a CAA discount automatically when using my BMO credit or debit card and showing my AIR MILES card?

No, you must insert your CAA member card at the time of purchase, followed by the AIR MILES collector card, and complete purchase with a BMO credit or debit card at the pump to receive the entire discount. Or, you can simply load both your CAA and AIR MILES Membership numbers in the Shell App and make your fuel purchase via the Shell App.

  Will my secondary cardholder have to link their BMO credit card with an AIR MILES collector account if I already linked my primary card?

No. Primary card linking will automatically link additional cardholders.

1.  This offer is available only to AIR MILES collectors who have linked their BMO credit or debit card with their AIR MILES collector account. This offer is exclusive to BMO personal banking credit and debit cards, as well as the Small Business credit cards. BMO corporate and commercial credit and debit cards, along with business banking debit cards, do not qualify for this offer. To receive the savings at the pump, the eligible AIR MILES collector number must be connected to your BMO credit or debit card and the eligible AIR MILES collector number must be valid at the time of the purchase transaction.
To qualify for the offer, eligible collectors with a BMO credit or debit card:
